Huntley Hills @ Hampton Hall:  The swim meet Tuesday is at Hampton Hall.  At the beginning of the season, I felt this would be our most difficult meet, but now that lineups have been exchanged we have a really good chance of pulling off an upset.  We need all the swimmers ready to compete at their best to pull this off, so please do what you can to help them be well feed and well rested. 

The club address is 1218 Warrenhall Lane, Atlanta, GA 30319 (map).  Swimmer Check in at 4:30 pm and meet starts at 5:30 pm.  We still have some volunteer positions that need to be filled. 

There is very limited parking at the club, therefore, many of you will end up parking on the neighborhood streets.  Please, only park on one side of the street.  We’ve been warned that Brookhaven PD has been enforcing this policy during swim meets.

Clinic Wednesday:  Our last scheduled clinic is Wednesday evening during the 7:00 pm evening practice.  Coach Ryan will be covering the Butterfly.  Again like before, blue team members are asked to participate and red team members are asked to observe and will be invited to participate if space allows.  Thus far everyone who’s attended any clinic has been able to participate. 

Junior Hammerhead Meet:  We’ll be having another Junior Hammerhead meet again on Wednesday.  We are pushing back the start time to 6:30pm.  The Juniors did an amazing job last week.  I can see that some of them will be ready to compete in the Senior meet before the season is over.

Huntcliff Photos:  The first batch of meet photos have been added to the portal.  You’ll find the Photo link under the Team menu.  Login is required to view the photo albums.   I know this is a problem if you want to show them to Grandma, but we feel it’s more important to protect the children’s images from the public.  If you take pictures at any meet and would like to upload them to the gallery just let me know and I’ll add you as a “Photographer” admin.

New Volunteer Positions for Home Meets:  As per the request of Ashley Kuehne, the Hammerhead Concession Manager, we’ve created some new volunteer positions for home meets.  There are several new “Concession Food” positions for people to bring food items such as Brownies, Choc. Chip Cookies, Pasta Salad, Burger Toppings, and Baked Potatoes.  These positions will all be pre-meet so people that cannot be at the meet can still contribute by arranging items ahead of time.  Of course anyone can sign up for a concession item AND work the meet.  There are also some things that the swimmers themselves might be interested in doing. 

Swimmer Email:  Does your swimmer have an email account?  Do you think they should be getting team emails?  Do you think they might want to log in and check the record board, view their results or look at the photo albums?  If so, just add their email to your family profile and give them the family password you set up.

Swim Caps – I’ve been told that they are shipping any day, so I am expecting them soon.

T-Shirts:  We still have several adult sizes if anyone would like a swim team shirt.  They’re just $10.  According to my records, every swimmer has received their t-shirt.  Just let me know if we missed someone.
