    Hammerhead Update, Home Swim Meet

Home Swim Meet:  Our first home meet of the season is tomorrow night.  All swimmer’s please report by 4:30pm.  There are still some very important volunteer positions that need to be filled.  Mary will not be at this meet and I’ll need to help the computer operators get ready for the meet so I’m going to be depending on a lot of help.  We’ll start configuring the pool for the meet at 3:30pm.  Those volunteering for setup please report at that time.  I’ve not been told if there is a “theme” for this meet but the coaches may have something planned with the kids.  I’m sure they’ll let you know all about it.

I would like to be good host and set aside as much parking as possible for our guest.  If there is any way you can walk to the pool please do so.  If you can park at a nearby neighbor’s please do so.   The parking along Plantation will be blocked off for meet officials and team reps.  And always remember if you park along the street make sure your facing the flow of traffic and only park on one side of the street.  We don’t want to get Chamblee PD after us.

Kids for Kids Meet:  We have to know by tomorrow night if you’re entering.  We’ve got a few swimmers planning on competing in this charity swim meet at Marist on Saturday, June 14 at 8:00 am.  If you’d like to be included please let me know immediately by responding to this email.  Here is the meet info

Swim Caps are here:  I’ll be handing out the pre-ordered caps at practice tomorrow morning.  I’ll hand the rest at the meet.  I have extras for those that want to purchase one.
