ASA Championship Finals:  Folks, I know we have a lot of new families this year, but I cannot express how amazing it is to have so many kids swimming on Sunday finals.  I don’t know the numbers for 2014 but in 2013 there were over 4800 swimmers entered in this meet.  The ASA Championship swim meet, with all 7 sessions, is, by far, the largest swim meet in the USA.  (I’d assume it’s probably the largest in the world if anyone wants to research it.)  In each case, depending on age group, these swimmers were either Top 30 or 40 in their event.  In most cases there were hundreds of competitors entered for their event.  This is an amazing accomplishment.  Way to go Hammerheads!

I’m hoping by now, each family on this list knows when to be at Tech on Sunday.  Just in case, for 10 & under our warm-up time is 11:45 am and 3:45 pm for 11& Over.  The meet start time for 10 & U is 1:00pm and 5:00pm for 11 & Over.

We do have one volunteer position to fill for each meet and I would really appreciate someone to volunteer for that position.
