Suit orders due this weekend:  I will be turning in the team suit order on Monday.  I still have the sizing box so if you’re the master of procrastination you’re in luck.  However, you’ll have to deal with my crazy weekend schedule. [ Important Note:  Some of you super observant folks have noticed a grey Swim Shop tab on the team portal to the left of the Sign In tab.  Thanks for noticing, BUT this is not the place to order for the team group order going in on Monday.  It will be after the team order is placed.  The differences between the two are our page (the one in the Links section) is for the consolidated team order that doesn’t require shipping charges.  The Swim Shop tab links our vendor’s site where they will charge you for shipping directly to your house.  It’s confusing I know but it gives our families a chance to save some money.]

Swimmer assessment a week from this Sunday:  On Sunday, April 24 at 4:00pm is the swimmer assessment.  This is NOT mandatory for everyone.  The purpose of this assessment is to determine which training group the swimmer should train with if they’re not sure.  A swimmer’s training group can and likely will change throughout the season, so this is just to identify a starting point.  If you cannot attend, use the following guidelines.  High schoolers & year round swimmers (i.e. Dynamo/Swim Atlanta) train with the Blue team, Middle Schoolers- Red, Elementary – White, First timers – Juniors.  Of course some people will have schedule conflicts and if that’s the case come to which ever practice works for you.  Returning swimmers should plan on practicing with the same group they finished with last year, and therefore attendance for them is optional. 

Practice starts in a Week:  Practice Schedule starting Monday, April 25 till May 25.  We’ll be monitoring the water temperature throughout the week and make adjustments accordingly.

Junior Coach Selection Underway:  Once we have all registrations submitted and know how many Junior Hammerhead swimmers we have, we’ll be making the final selection for our Junior Hammerhead coaching staff this week.  We’ll announce the selection at the swimmer assessment and send an email afterwards.
