Swim Meet Tonight:  Swimmers should report at 4:30pm at the Marcus Jewish Community Center towards the rear of the property.  There are a lot of distractions at this pool so please make sure your children fully understand that they are to stay in the bullpen/team area.  The really cool play pool is off limits.  Coaches should have given kids their events this morning but we've had a couple come down with an illness, so things may get moved around some.  We'll have the official event entries at the pool deck this afternoon.  Here is a link to Google Maps for the MJCC.

Speaking of Illness:  If someone comes down with a bug on the day of the swim meet, either the swimmer or a parent should communicate with the coaches directly as soon a possible.  Sending a message via a friend is not sufficient.  

ASA Championship Meet:  The meet is Wednesday, June 29 at 9:00am.  Entries are due this Friday.  This is a great experience for all swimmers and I encourage everyone to compete if they can.  Here is a link to the ASA Championship Meet info.  If your swimmer plans on attending this meet, 2 things must happen immediately, or at least by the Thursday night deadline:

1)  You must RSVP "Yes" on the team portal.  If you don't do this we will not enter them in the meet.  In addition to a "Yes" if you would like to select the 2 individual events your swimmers wants to compete in put that in the comments sections.  If you leave this blank the coaches will pick for them.  Relay teams will be put together at the coaches discretion.  Every attempt will be made to put a swimmer in a relay.  Note: If you have RSVPed already you can go back and update the comments sections if you didn't do that.

2)  You must pay the $25 entry fee on the swim shop:  Some of you did this at the beginning of the season, for everyone else you must do it before Thursday night.  Here is a link you'll need.  Once entries are submitted, we cannot refund your entry fee.
