Pool Status:  This morning we had a meeting to discuss the status of the pool.  We are still waiting on the electrical components to be installed to provide power to the pumps and equipment.  As a result, we are moving the first day of practice back a week to Monday, May 8.  The swimmer assessment will now be held on May 7.  For now we are moving the start of Junior practices to May 10. 

Registrations:  All registrations need to be complete by the end of next week.  We’ll begin ordering t-shirts, bags, etc. and we need to have a final count.

Swim Gear:  The deadline to order personalized swim caps is next Friday.  I’ve also noticed that some of you ordered youth sized t-shirts.  That is fine, but please remember that every registered swimmer, including juniors, will receive a t-shirt as part of their swim gear.  If you need to modify your orders please do so immediately.  Your PayPal will be credited. 

Swim Fins:  Don’t forget to get swim fins purchased before the first practice.

Schedule is Official:  We’ve finalized our schedule.  We’re swimming Away, Away, Home, Home, Home against Deerfield Spalding Lake, Mill Glen, Westhamption/Embry Hills, Redfield, and Dunwoody North.  The first meet is moved to Wed, May 31 and the last meet is on Monday, June 26.  All others are on the regular Tuesday night.  The ASA Divisional meet for our team will be on Wednesday.  I’m hearing rumors there may be some big changes coming to Divisional and hope to have more info after the league meeting this coming week.

RSVP & Volunteers:  Now that the schedule is out, the meets are on the website and available for you to RSVP your swimmers and to sign-up for volunteers.  I’d like to have a few more computer operators this season.  If this is something you would be willing to learn please reply back to this email.  There is a dedicated training class at Marist in May for computer workers.  NEW!  I've create two short videos to show you how to RSVP and signup for a volunteer position.  You'll find the links on the Resources menu and on the Links section of the Home page.  

Coaching Staff:  I meant to include this in last week’s update.  Besides Head Coach Beth, we’ll have 3 assistant coaches, David Nicaragua, Marshall Peters, and  Kirby Guerrero.  We’ll have one specialist coach, Mary Adam.  Head Junior Coach is Emily Hrabovsky.  Our Junior Coaches are Alexander Blake, Carter DiFonzo, Gaby Hegwood, Alex Huckabee, Max Levie-Sprick, Katlin Vinyard.
