Hello Hammerheads!  We had a fun practice this evening with 50 swimmers in attendance.  I think it was safe to say that it served as a wonderful ice breaker for all the new and old swimmers, parents and coaches in just an hours time.

As far as Thursday's practice, I'd like to play that by ear.  So far it appears that it will rain from sun up to sun down tomorrow but this is Atlanta so anything could happen.

If it's absolutely miserable, we will not have practice.  That call will be made by 3pm.  If it's just a little rainy and the grassy area isn't too bad and... the temperature is still above 70 or so (and the rest of the stars in the sky align) then we will practice.  I told today's swimmers that we could practice in swim suits and tennis shoes... again, we'll make that call by 3pm tomorrow.

As for the Parent's meeting for tomorrow night, that is still a go, rain or shine.  Chamblee First United Methodist Church has made a room available to us to have a parent's meeting.  It will be upstairs in room 204.  As you approach the church from the back side (neighborhood side), you enter on the right side of the building and head upstairs (or so I understood it).   That meeting will start promptly at 6:45pm as we need to leave by 7:30pm.  Feel free to arrive any time after 6:30.

Friday's parent's meeting will be at our picnic table area right after dry land practice.  Remember to BYOChair...
