DSL Meet Results Published: It took a while, but the meet results are posted on the website. You can view them one of three ways. You must be logged in to view results.
- Option 1: Under “Swim Meets” menu, select the meet and open the Meet Results PDF file under the Meet Documents. This report lists all swimmers and all events.
- Option 2: Under “Swim Meets” menu, click on the “1st” button for the meet.
- Option 3: Under “Team Area” menu, select “Meet Results”. This option will also let you view multiple meet results at once.
RSVP for Mill Glen due: June 6 @ Mill Glen in Dunwoody. We’re back to our normal Tuesday night meet schedule for the next 3 weeks starting with a pretty competitive team, Mill Glen. Lineup will be worked on this weekend; we need to know those RSVPs. We are missing a ton of swimmers this week, so we want to avoid empty lanes.
ASA League Championship Meet: This is the end of season meet held at the 1996 Olympic Pool at Georgia Tech. All teams in the ASA swim league participate in this meet and it is one of the largest swim meets in the country. Our team competes in the June 29, Thursday morning, “Intown” divisional session at 9:00am. Swimmers finishing in the Top 50 (10 & Unders) or Top 40 (11 & Overs) of all sessions combined will return on Saturday, July 1 for their respective Finals session (10 & Under, 10:30 am), 11 & Over, 2:00 pm).
This entry fee for this meet is $25. You can pay this fee on the website by going to Team Area -> Team Store. Some of you elected to pay this fee during the registration process. Click here for a list
RSVP Process: You will see these sessions added to the list of swim meets on the website. You must first RSVP for the Divisional meet. Then you must RSVP for the Final session for the correct age group, 10 & Under or 11 & Over. You must do this no matter how unlikely you might think the swimmer will finish in the Top 50/40 for their age group. Unlike meets during the season, we will not enter anyone in this meet unless they RSVP “yes” and pay the entry fee.
Events: Each swimmer can swim up to two individual events. If you want to pick the events, include that information in the notes when submitting the RSVP. If you don’t indicate events, the coaches will pick them. If there are at least 4 swimmers entered in an age group, the coaches will put together relay teams.
Volunteers: We will have to provide a few volunteers, usually a couple of timers, crowd control, etc. We won’t know what the jobs are until we get the meet packets the day of the meet. If you volunteer fora job prior to the meet, we’ll pay for your $15 parking pass. I’ll probably buy your lunch at the Varsity after the meet too.
