Volunteers Needed for Tuesday, Daily Reminder

    Happy Sunday!

We are still missing volunteers for Tuesday night! We have 21 families who are signed up for the meet who have not signed up for a volunteer spot. As a reminder, if we do not fill spots for tent managers we will limit the number of swimmers swimming from those age groups, particularly 7-8 year olds. We also will not be able to have a concession stand if we can’t fill those spots. And as a final reminder, the meet will NOT start until all spots are filled.

    We are still missing:

    7&8 Girls Tent Manager, 2nd shift - 3 needed

    7&8 Boys Tent Manager, 2nd shift - 3 needed

    9&10 Boys Tent Manager, 1st shift - 1 needed

    9&10 Boys Tent Manager, 2nd shift - 2 needed

    9&10 Girls Tent Manager, 1st shift - 2 needed

    Announcer, 2nd shift - 1 needed

    Bullpen Manager, 1st shift - 1 needed

    Bullpen Manager, 2nd shift - 2 needed

Concessions Worker - all 3 shifts we need people

    Floater - 1st shift, 2 needed

    Master Recorder - 2nd shift, 1 needed

Place Judge - 2nd shift, 1 needed (this is the best job, it is pool side, you get to sit and watch and it's easy)

Post Meet CleanUp - We have no one signed up for this. If no one signs up then the coaches and those of us who have volunteered all night are left to do it. Do not put this on the coaches after they have worked the whole meet.

I understand that volunteering is not something people want to do, but unfortunately we can not run a meet without volunteers. And we will not start the meet until all spots are filled. Spots like bullpen manager and tent managers are necessary so we keep the kids in one place and get them to their events. If we don't have people for these spots your kids may miss their events.

I know these emails are annoying to receive (I know!!) but it is necessary evil to get these spots filled. We want to have the best, quickest meet we can have and to do so the spots need filled!

    Thanks,

    Andrea
