Hi HHSTC Hammerhead Families!

We are so excited to have a great turnout so far for our 2026 HHSTC Hammerhead Swim Team! As a reminder, ASA fees will increase on April 16th, so sign up today to avoid the extra fees!

We are also looking for specific volunteers - we need a volunteer coordinator! This is someone who will ensure our volunteers are checked in and where they need to be. This is seamless and has been set up by prior years volunteer coordinator to make it super easy! Also, if someone would like to help me throughout the season, with the goal being to take over as swim team manager next Summer (with my help), that would be amazing. I love this team, but my daughter only has a few summers left so getting someone to hop on board now to learn the ropes would be very helpful!

And finally, we need swimmers in specific age groups! Our littlest age groups are almost full but if you are an 11-12 swimmer we need you! Specifically boys! We also need 13-14 boys and girls, and 15-18 boys!

Monday, May 11, 4 pm - assessment for all swimmers 10 and under

Tuesday, May 26 - first swim meet, at Hammond Hills

Tuesday, June 2 - second swim meet, at home, vs Redfield

Tuesday, June 9 - third swim meet, at home, vs Hanover West

Tuesday, June 16 - fourth swim meet, away, at Hampton Hall

Monday, June 22 - fifth swim meet, at home, vs Roxboro.

Thursday, June 25 - ASA divisionals at Tech, 7 AM start

Thursday, June 25 - banquet in the evening

The fees this year are:

$165 for first swimmer

$150 for additional swimmers

$70 for swimmers 15 and over

$180 for non-member families

ASA fees are as follows (please note we have no control over this and it is required to be a member of the team)

$50 per swimmer, price increases April 16

$70 from April 16 through June 1

$75 from June 2

We will again have a junior program, and swimmers will be put in this program after assessment. The goal is to move the swimmers up to the team by the end of the season. In order for that to happen swimmers must be able to swim a lap unassisted in under a minute.

Swimmers must be 4 years old by June 1 to register.

Every swimmer receives a shirt and swim cap. Additional shirts are available for sale during registration, along with volunteer shirts.
