Hi Hammerhead families!

The 2025 HHSTC Hammerhead Swim Team season is open for registration! We are excited for another great season, and hope you all want to come back!

Important dates:

(We will have 2 home meets and 3 away meets this season)

Monday, May 12, 4 pm - assessment for all swimmers 10 and under

Tuesday, May 27 - first swim meet (all locations of meets to come). We also know that Dekalb schools are still in session, unfortunately this is a dictated date by the ASA so we will see what we can do to possibly have an earlier start for the younger kids, but we will just have to see what happens.

Tuesday, June 3 - second swim meet

Tuesday, June 10 - third swim meet

Tuesday, June 17 - fourth swim meet

Monday, June 23 - fifth swim meet

Thursday, June 26 - ASA divisionals at Tech, 7 AM start

The fees this year remain the same as last year:

$160 for first swimmer

$140 for additional swimmers

$70 for swimmers 15 and over

$180 for non-member families

ASA fees are as follows (please note we have no control over this and it is required to be a member of the team)

$42 per swimmer, price increases April 16

$62 from April 16 through June 1

$67 from June 1

We will again have a junior program, and swimmers will be put in this program after assessment. The goal is to move the swimmers up to the team by the end of the season. In order for that to happen swimmers must be able to swim a lap unassisted in under a minute.

Swimmers must be 4 years old by June 1 to register.

The practice schedule will come out shortly but will look very similar to prior years:

Tentative after school practice from May 13 - May 29, 4 pm to 6 pm. We will confirm times/dates asap.

Morning practices beginning May 30, 8 am through 11 am, depending on age and ability. Younger swimmers typically swim first and then older swimmers later.

We do require volunteering, and expect all families to volunteer a minimum of 4 'sessions' throughout the season. A session is half of a meet. We will have 3 home meets this year so there will be lots of opportunities for volunteering.

Every swimmer receives a shirt and swim cap. Addiotional shirts are availble for sale during registration, along with volunteer shirts.
