Just a friendly reminder that our swim team registration is open and this is the last week before ASA fees go up, so if you haven't registered now is the time to do so!

We are still looking for swimmers of all ages, but especially the following age groups:

Girls and Boys 11-12

Girls and Boys 13-14

Women 15-18 (these swimmers swim at a reduced rate of $70!)

Important dates:

Monday, April 22, 5-7 pm - swim team suit fitting at the HHSTC clubhouse, 5-7 (you can reuse the suit from last year if it still fits! If you are new to the team this is a great chance to get fitted for the right size)

Monday, May 13, 4 pm - assessment for all swimmers 10 and under

Tuesday, May 28 - first swim meet (all locations of meets to come)

Tuesday, June 4 - second swim meet

Tuesday, June 11 - third swim meet

Tuesday, June 18 - fourth swim meet

Monday, June 24 - fifth swim meet

Thursday, June 27 - ASA divisionals at Tech, 7 AM start

Thursday, June 27 - Banquet, 6 pm

The fees this year remain the same as last year:

$160 for first swimmer

$140 for additional swimmers

$70 for swimmers 15 and over

$180 for non-member families

ASA fees are as follows (please note we have no control over this and it is required to be a member of the team)

$42 per swimmer, price increases April 16

$62 from April 16 through June 1

$67 from June 1

We will again have a junior program, and swimmers will be put in this program after assessment. The goal is to move the swimmers up to the team by the end of the season. In order for that to happen swimmers must be able to swim a lap unassisted in under a minute.

Swimmers must be 4 years old by June 1 to register.

The practice schedule will come out shortly but will look very similar to prior years:

After school practice from May 14 - May 24, 4 pm to 6 pm

Morning practices beginning May 27, 8 am through 11 am, depending on age and ability. Younger swimmers typically swim first and then older swimmers later.

We do require volunteering, and expect all families to volunteer a minimum of 4 'sessions' throughout the season. A session is half of a meet. We will have 3 home meets this year so there will be lots of opportunities for volunteering.

Every swimmer receives a shirt and swim cap. Addiotional shirts are availble for sale during registration, along with volunteer shirts.

New this year - we have family sponsorship opportunities! For $50 you can be a family sponsor, and receive an HHSTC swim towel (while supplies last). This can also be purchased during registration.
