The first meet of the season is finally here! We will be swimming against the Garden Hills Cool Sharks at 335 Pine Tree Dr NE, Atlanta, GA. Street parking is extremely limited and tickets have been given out in the past, so please only park on one side of the streets, follow all parking signs, and avoid blocking intersections and driveways. If you don't mind walking, there will be additional parking at 14 E. Wesley Rd (the lower parking lot for Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church) 0.4 miles away from the pool. 

Please plan to arrive at 4:30 so we can mark swimmers and get organized before our 5:00 warmups! The meet should begin at 5:30. This team is over double our size and this will be our longest meet of the season, so be prepared! Their pool furniture is limited so I recommend bringing your own lawn chairs. They will have a concession stand at the meet but only allow credit cards for purchases over $15. 

We have finished entries and finalized the seeding of the meet, so your child's events will be available at practice tomorrow morning. With the exception of the 6 and under group, all freestyle relays are swam at the very end of the meet, so we ask that you do not leave the meet early without telling a coach. 

The day after the meet (and every following Wednesday), we hold a fun "donuts and ribbons" practice for the swimmers. This is at a different time than normal practice. All 9 and under swimmers will come from 8-9, and all 10 and over swimmers from 9-10. Evening practice will be the same (6-7p.m. 9 and under, 7-8p.m. 10 and over).
