    Registration Is Open!

Registration is NOW open for swim team this Summer! We are excited about another great season, and hope to see you all back!

Every swimmer needs to be registered through our swimtopia site. Please note the ASA price increases below, and register before the first increase to keep prices down. We will also need people registered by the end of April to receive team t-shirts.

The fees this year are $160 for the first swimmer, $140 for each additional swimmer. Swimmers 15 and over are $70. The Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) charges an additional fee of $37 per athlete. After April 16th, this fee increases to $57 per athlete, and after June 2nd it increases to $62 per athlete. Please note this increase in fees (which is beyond our control) and register early to save.

Non-HHSTC member families will be charged a non-member fee of $180 per family.

In order to register, swimmers must be between 5 and 18 years old. For our youngest swimmers they must be able to swim 1 lap of the pool unassisted in order to be on the team. (We will be sending out info on our separate swim lesson program at a later date)

Swim team will run from Mid-May through the end of June, with the following dates (please note that these are approximate and once finalized will be communicated):

Assessment - likely the weekend of May 13th

Practices start in the afternoon - week of May 15th

Morning practices begin - week of May 29th

Meet dates (these are set days, and we will likely have 2 home and 3 away meets this year)

    Tuesday, May 30th

    Tuesday, June 6th

    Tuesday, June 13th

    Tuesday, June 20th

    Monday, June 26th

Divisionals at Georgia Tech will likely be Thursday, June 29th, in the morning.

And the banquet is typically the evening of divisionals, so tentatively the date will be Thursday, June 29th, in the evening.

There will also be a swim suit fitting sometime before the season starts.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and go Hammerheads!

    Thanks,

    Andrea Botham
