Your elected volunteer HHSTC board is happy to announce that we worked quickly and diligently to secure a highly qualified candidate and we are excited to introduce the new head coach of the Huntley Hills Hammerheads, Mary Adam. Many of you may know Mary from the neighborhood, or from her many years as a swimmer and assistant coach for the Huntley Hills swim team. Mary is finishing up her freshman year at Florida Atlantic University, where she is not only pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology in their University Honors program, she is also a member of the Florida Atlantic University swim and dive team. Prior to her time at FAU she was captain of the Chamblee Charter High School swim team, won the 2021 state title in 100 breaststroke at the Georgia HS 4-5a state championships, and was a part of the 200 medley relay team, which also took home the state title. She was also voted the GHSSCA Class 4A-5A Swimmer of the Year for 2021.
