Hi parents!

We are at week 4, the swim team season is flying by! This week is our first full in person meet for all age groups! The meet is tomorrow evening, June 15th, at the Gainsborough pool. Parking, as always, is limited, so be prepared to park on the street. Please bring your own chairs as they have not told us if they will have chairs available for us to use.

The swimmers bullpen will be located outside the gate. We will have tents set up for the swimmers. 

Gainsborough will be running a concession stand selling CFA sandwiches, pizza slices, and regular concession food snacks. It is CASH ONLY. Please plan accordingly and bring cash for your kids if they will be purchasing anything, or snacks if they will not.

Arrival time for kids is 4:15. Please note that this time is so they have a chance to warm up before the meet begins. The meet will begin at 5:30 pm. The order of the meet will be as follows:

6U Free Relay

All Medley Relays (6U does not swim medley relays)

6U Free

6U Back

Resume rest of meet as normal starting with 7-8 Free

The meet will likely go till 9ish. Please do NOT leave early with your kids if they are signed up in a relay - it is very difficult to rearrange the relay teams because someone decides to leave early. The 6U swimmers will be able to leave when they are done swimming after the 6U backstroke event.

We will need lots of volunteers for this meet, and given the size and length of the meet most of our volunteer spots will be split up into shifts (timers, writers, deck managers). Please click here to sign up, and note which time you are signing up for if you sign up for one of those positions. As always, the meet can not begin until we have all these spots filled!
