Swim suits that don't fit and the need to order suits
Hi all. Emily Pitts is in constant communication with our suit supplier. See her note below....
My addition to this is as follows:
The TYR suits are a higher-level compression-type suit. They are meant to be tight. Please squeeze your child into the suit and have them wear it to practice. Once in the water, it will not feel as tight... promise. If they wear it for practice and come home with indentations from the straps, then it is too small. If not, it's perfect.
If your child wants to fight you about wearing it all the time (I'm familiar with this), just use it for meets and wear whatever you want (so long as I don't have to see their unmentionables) at practice.
The supplier will NOT take a return on the suit, however, Emily will try to help do a swap/resale as noted below.
From Emily ([email protected]):
The swim shop is still accepting orders if you are in need of a suit. Turnaround time is about two weeks.
If you ordered in April & have not received your suit, then you should expect it with next week’s delivery. We will pass them out at practice next week when they come in.
We will do our best to coordinate a suit swap If your suit is too small. However, the Hexa (TYR) suit is a higher compression suit. It may seem snug when you first put it on, but it will loosen up upon getting wet and swimming.
