Our Divisional's meet is on Thursday morning, the 27th of June, at Georgia Tech. 

This meet is a large-scale of what we do every week. It's our championship! All children should attend this meet. The only reason it comes across as optional is because it cost money to swim in it.

The experience of swimming in an Olympic pool and seeing your name on the board is different than anything most of our children have done before.  Because we order special shirts for the kids that attend Divisionals, and because I have to meet different deadlines to the league for entries, you have to RSVP early for it. All of our swimmers that go have their names printed on the back of the t-shirt which is very exciting as well.

There is a finals meet on Saturday for swimmer's that qualify to go. Those times are based on how swimmers performed at Thursday's meet. If you're in the top 30 you are eligible to swim in the Saturday meet. This day is optional!  I will have times that are based off of last year's finals that I will send out so you can see how close your child is to making it to finals. For reference, we usually only have five swimmers that make it to finals.

Please sign you swimmer up for Divisionals.  It is for all swim levels.  And we do relays and need all possible swimmers available!

BTW, the meet is over by 1200ish as another group gets in at 1.  They use two pools to run the meet... One for girls and one for boys.
