Here are a few quick Hammerhead Updates:

Spirit Night @ Farm Burger, Tomorrow:  I hope everyone can join us.  Starts at 4:00pm

Meet Schedule:  Our opponents in order are:  Zaban (5/30), @ Mill Glen (6/5), @ Huntcliff (6/12), Byrnwyck (6/19) and @ Deerbrooke Waters (Mon, 6/25).  You can begin RSVPs now if you know you'll be missing some meets.  

Job Signups for Swim Meets:  Based on feedback from some parents, the job signups will open up in one week on Monday, April 23 at 10:00am.  Mark you calendars, set alarms, ask Siri, Alexa and Google Home to remind you. Everyone has a fair shot at getting the job they want. If you're a new parent or interested in learning more, there is a dedicated web page (About Team - Meet Volunteers) that explains every job for Home and Away meets.  Each family is required to complete a minimum of two volunteer slots.  

We need registrations submitted:  Please get your children registered as soon as possible.  We need to make staffing decisions and those are highly dependent on the numbers of swimmers we have.  An important new change:  The board is allowing the children of families with a pending membership application to the club to signup for swim team at the member rate.  Additionally, the membership requirement for those living in Huntley Hills or within a mile of the club is also waived if you have a pending membership application to the club.  Bottom line, if your family is trying to become a member of the club, but you're still on the wait list, you're kids can participate on the swim team at the member rate even if you live in Huntley Hills or within a mile of the club.   

Coaching Updates:  Related to above, we will be holding off announcing coaching selections for a few more weeks until we better know the requirements we need.
